That look wasn't that he said something stupid, not this time. Just surprising, and it was just as well he wanted to leave the shop, because it really wasn't a conversation she wanted an audience for. Of course, then he was kissing the back of her hand, taking her breath away with his easy sweetness.
Hopefully the question wouldn't embarrass him or make things awkward, but something in her needed to know. So she squeezed his hand and spit out, "It's what you said about prostitution. Have you never been with another woman you didn't pay for?"
